2003
Operate a
training/teaching/breeding facility in Northern Virginia. Continue with
out sport horse breeding program. Continue riding instruction with
clinicians such as Gerhard Politz and Nicole Uphoff. Start and exhibit
numerous young horses at dressage and breed shows.
2002
Operate a
training/boarding/breeding facility in Northern Virginia. Trained and
exhibited one of our four-year-olds at Dressage at Devon where he was
pinned Champion in the Materiale class with a score of 75.9%.
Participated in USDF-VADA-NOVA clinic with Gerhard Polotz.
2001
Rehabilitate
broken leg.
1999-2000
Started,
trained, and sold Dutch Warmbloods at Iron Spring Farm. In 2000 trained and exhibited
Nordic, a five year-old Stallion by Roemer. Presented Nordic at dressage
at Devon where he was Reserve Champion in the Stallion, Mature Horse, and
Grand Champion classes. Qualified for BLM & ABIC championships. Rode
stallions Akatschi and Coeur de Lion.
1998
Operated a
training/teaching/boarding facility in North Carolina
1995-97
Apprenticeship
with Hokan Thorn responsible for all aspects of care for up to 24 horses
in training. Interface with vets, farriers, and owners. Rode up to eight
horses per day, green through Grand Prix. Traveled extensively to horse
shows.
1997
Trained and
competed six year-old Holsteiner, Raphael. Earned PVDA High Score Award,
79.6%.
1994-95
Apprenticeship
with Manfred Lewis. Responsible for all aspects of care for up to 12
horses in training. Started many young horses.
1983-1994
Galloped
thoroughbreds at Canterbury Downs race track, evented extensively,
managed and trained horses at my own and others' facilities; began
breeding Warmblood horses.
